Often our stress, tension and repressed emotions are visible in our bodies. In the way we breathe. Where the breath doesn’t reach. Where muscles contract or we hold our breath or push it. This is our body telling us something. It’s a response to unconscious signals we have been giving it.

When we realise how hard we have been pushing ourselves, we can start using the wisdom of our body. To relax and exhale.

our approach

Breathing into joy.

Through a guided breathing session, you consciously use your breath to achieve a certain state. For some, this means deep relaxation. For others, it means intense release. By controlling your breath, you move in a certain direction — towards what demands your attention.

In a safe and professional setting, you are guided through a session that focuses on your body and your breath. Not to force anything. Not to “fix” you. But to create space.

During a breathing session we focus on:

  1. Breathing to the state we wish to achieve (by breathing intensely or more calmly)
  2. Relaxing the diaphragm and other areas where our muscles are tight
  3. Using a variety of techniques to experiment with and increased volume of oxygen or an increased level of carbon dioxide.
  4. Integrating emotions that come up during a session.

The focus is on working on a physical, emotional and spiritual level. So that our breath becomes a path to joy.

Breath sessions can be helpful with:

  1. Relief from stress and tension
  2. Recovery from burnout
  3. Letting go of pent-up emotions (such as anger or fear)
  4. Chronic hyperventilation

In fact, it is suitable for anyone who is willing to look inside.

This work can be done both online and in person and can consist of a series of workshops, a one-off workshop lasting two hours, half a day or a whole day, or a retreat lasting several days.
