why

We live in a world full of impulses.

You probably recognise that you chase after things. You worry about things, make plans, brood and feel stressed. And then you feel that something is not right. That you have strayed from yourself and feel the desire to return.

Or you notice confusion within yourself and want to experience clarity again. Sometimes there is a quiet realisation: something has to change. Mindfulness helps you reconnect with what is alive in you here and now. With kindness and without judgement. So that you can return to yourself from a place of calm and tranquillity and then go out into the world with new insights and joy.

Now we are seeing, now hearing; now reasoning, now willing; now recollecting, now expecting; now loving, now hating; and in a hundred other ways we know our minds to be alternately engaged.”

our approach

A path to inner clarity and joy.

In mindfulness programmes (individual or group), we use teaching, meditation and sharing circles to delve deeper into what is happening within us. It is a profound process of getting to know yourself and who you really are. Always in complete safety and under supervision.

During a mindfulness programme, we focus on:

  1. Recognising sensations in your body and resting in them
  2. Recognising thoughts and emotions and how they come and go
  3. Reconnecting with your body through your breath as an anchor
  4. Experiencing more joy and love
  5. Entering the world with clarity to reduce your own suffering and that of others.

The focus is not only on what is going on inside you, but rather on how you can be OK with that in the here and now. Awareness is not an intellectual exercise. It is a gradual process.
